Title
A waterman’s tale

Two years to get to know the Thames properly? They must be having a laugh! The river can be very hard to navigate, especially round the piers and pontoons. That’s exactly why they brought in licences all those centuries ago, to stop the terrible accidents that inexperienced watermen had. And now they want to take us back to those days.
