Title
The unkindness of ravens

All too aware of the legend, but unable to approach the birds for fear of losing an eye, the yeoman warders abandoned their attempts to trim the ravens’ wings. The birds were causing no trouble, and as long as they were fed regularly, they had no reason to leave, or so the warders reasoned. After all, where would they go?
